About the Program
The Graduate Program in Physics (PPGF) at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) began its activities in 2008 with the Master's course. Since then, the scientific production has reached the levels of grade 4 courses, the program has graduated a significant number of Master's students, and its infrastructure has improved considerably. As a result, the course received a grade of 4 in the 2017 four-year evaluation. Thus, by the end of 2018, the PPGF had its doctoral APCN approved and began activities with its first cohort in 2019.1.
